ABOUT

Sunny Side of the Doc is the international market dedicated to supporting the international financing of documentary projects and the circulation of completed programs. Every June, the 4-day event brings together 2,200+ participants (decision makers, producers, filmmakers, sales agents, foundations and funders) from 60+ countries. Challenging and thought-provoking conference sessions, pitch competitions (with prizes), presentations by broadcasters, screenings and special events, all in a large exhibition and conference venue, Espace Encan, on the harbour side of La Rochelle.

Ce marché, qui attire plus de 2 200 participants (décideurs internationaux, acheteurs et chargés de programmes de chaînes et plateformes, producteurs, fondations, financeurs, distributeurs, installations culturelles) de plus de 60 pays, vise à soutenir le financement et la coproduction internationale des projets documentaires, tout comme la circulation des programmes achevés. Le marché propose également des panels, des compétitions de pitch, des présentations par des diffuseurs et des projections se déroulant à l’Espace Encan, grand hall lumineux qui borde le port de La Rochelle.
